into the cellar

Description
A ground-level cellar entrance opens beneath a red brick wall, framed by stone blocks stained with moss and mineral residue. One heavy metal door hangs ajar, its surface corroded and split, while the interior recedes into darkness. Fallen leaves and exposed roots gather at the threshold, marking the boundary between exterior ground and unseen interior space. Pennsylvania.
